- CPR : Carbon Dioxide Production Rate 또는
CER : Carbon Dioxide Evolution Rate
- RQ : Respiratory Quotient (CER/OUR) |

OUR 수치는 specific growth rate (μ) 와 밀접하게 연관 |

OUR, CER 같은 데이터를 bioreactor 의 controller 로 전송하여 세포배양 공정을 다양한 방법으로 조절하여
가장 적절한 배양 조건을 유지 |

예를 들어 E.coli 의 경우 배양액에 영양분이 많을 경우 2차 대사산물인 acetate 를 형성하게 되어 세포배양 효율이 떨어지게 된다.
이 현상의 경우 OUR 수치가 올라가게 되므로 OUR 수치를 bioreactor 의 controller 에 전달하고 controller 는 feeding 조건을 감소시켜
적절한 배양 조건을 유지할 수 있다. |
