LION™ Cationic Nanoemulsion
HDT Bio 사가 개발한 RNA Delivery System 은 LION™ Cationic Nanoemulsion 으로서 이 Lipid Nanoparticle 의 가장 중요한 특징은 다음과 같습니다
Very Stable
LION particle 에 결합한 RNA 는 인체내에서 매우 stable 한 상태를 유지합니다.
No RNA modification
LNP 에 사용되는 RNA 는 세포내 공격을 방어하기 위해 methylated RNA 를 사용하지만 LION 에 사용되는 RNA 는 이러한 RNA modification 이 필요없습니다.
Self Amplification
세포내에 들어간 RNA 는 self-replication 을 하여 30~50 배 많은 RNA 로 증폭을 하게 되어 더 많은 항원 단백질이 생성되므로 기존 LNP 방식에 비해 중화항체 생성이 매우 효율적입니다.
Much Less Side Effects
LION™ Cationic Nanoemulsion 에는 인체에 부작용을 일으키는 PEG 같은 물질을 사용하지 않아 기존 LNP 방식에 비해 인체 부작용이 매우 적습니다.
